April / 21: The season’s first concert at Troldhaugen can now be streamed. Eldrid Gorset and pianist Olga Jørgensen are presenting three opus of Agathe Backer Grøndahl and Edvard Grieg.

Cancelled: Operaen i Kristiansund
April / 21: Due to the ongoing pandemic, Forelska i Händel (In Love with Händel), is postponed indefinitely. The performance was part of The Opera in Kristiansund’s “Festukene”, and is a playful and new performance created by Eldrid’s Opera Company Skeive Stemmer.
Flagstad – an Opera (Cancelled)
Nov / 20: Gorset will make her debut at The Norwegian Opera & Ballet in the new written opera by Ketil Bjørnstad and Birgitte Christensen as Flagstad. The opera is part of Flagstad’s 125th aniversary, and is produced by Oslo Operafestival and Flagstad Festival. Buy tickets!

Cancelled: Falstaff with KORK
April / 20: Eldrid will make her debut as Nannetta at the Norwegian Opera with The Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK) in April 2020. Falstaff by Verdi, staged by the Norwegian star director Stefan Herheim is going to be Eldrids last performance as part of the Master Programme at The National Opera Academy in Oslo.
Wins The Ruud-Wallenberg 2019
Nov / 19: After auditioning, Eldrid is very happy to receive the prestigious scholarship from the Ruud-Wallenbergs Fond (Norway). She is the only winner of this years competition and is smiling from ear to ear!
Audience prize at DNO&B
May / 19: Eldrid participated at the annual balcony concert at the Norwegian Opera & Ballet and recieved the Audience Prize as well as the 2nd prize of the jury in the competition held by The Opera Academy Friends. The jury members…. Read more
Gretel debut with KORK
February / 19: Eldrid made her Gretel debut in The Academy of Operas production at The Norwegian National Opera. Playing this fantastic music was no other than The Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK), lead by Gregor Bühl and directed by Jacopo Spirei.
Bachs Juleoratorium
Eldrid Gorset is invited back to be the soprano soloist in Bach’s Christmas Oratorio third year in a row. Together with fantastic soloists the lovely Lillehammer Symphonic Orchestra and Opera lead by Geir Inge Lotsberg, Eldrid is much looking forward to this festive day!
